The grouping can be understood as ten revelations of Mahadevi, yet each form has its own iconography, theology, textual history, and lineage-specific practice. A list is a doorway, not a complete manual.
Devotion is not the same as formal sadhana
A seeker may read, offer respectful reverence, and visit established temples without claiming initiation. Formal practice may carry specific eligibility, mantra, ritual, time, and supervision requirements.
